Climate change is a major global challenge affecting the environment, economy, and communities worldwide. Rising greenhouse gas emissions and increasing climate-related disasters highlight the need for sustainable and low-carbon development. In line with SDG 13 (Climate Action), accurate and transparent carbon emission data is essential for understanding environmental impacts, informing policies, and supporting effective mitigation efforts.
Sustainability and low-carbon growth can be achieved through better carbon measurement, clean technologies, energy efficiency, and responsible resource management. Strengthening climate transparency is therefore crucial to enhance accountability, attract green investment, and accelerate progress toward environmental goals.
Through ICSAB 2026, academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers are brought together to exchange knowledge, share research, and explore collaborative solutions that strengthen climate transparency and accelerate the transition toward sustainable and low-carbon growth.
